So, baby is 13 weeks this week! It is so hard to believe it has already been 13 weeks. I know it is has been a few weeks since my last post, but August is the busiest month for me at work. I don't have a ton of extra time. But August is almost over (also hard to believe), so I have a little more free time. Will and I are keep having these realizations that yes, we are indeed pregnant and baby is on its way! :) We have started to think about baby names and have list going, so that is also really exciting to think about. In 6-7 weeks we will find out the sex of the baby and we are very anxious for that. Many people are making predictions, so we will see who is right.
13 Week Report! :)
- How far along? 13 weeks
- Total weight gain: 2 lbs.
- How big is baby? The size of a peach.
- Maternity clothes? Nope, still wearing my normal clothes. Although my pants are starting to feel a little tight.
- Sleep? I am so tired all the time. I am hoping that now I am in my second trimester I will start to have more energy. And I can officially no longer sleep on my stomach. It hurts too much.
- Best moment this week? Making it to the second trimester! :) Best moment of last week was that we got to hear the baby's heartbeat at our doctor's visit.
- Movement? Nothing that I can feel yet, but mom tells me that I should be feeling things in the next couple of weeks, so I am pretty excited.
- Food cravings? I haven't really had any cravings.
- Labor signs? Nope.
- Belly button in or out? In.
- How are you feeling? Pretty good. I have had few days where I felt really sick after I ate. Other than that though I am feeling really good.
- What I miss: Iced Tea! Darn caffeine.
- What I'm looking forward to: Will starting his new job on Monday.
- Milestone: We are 13 weeks pregnant! And we are now in the second trimester.
Baby's now the size of a peach!
Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords...savor this, their nonfunctional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with his head now only one third the size of his body. And intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy -- much more convenient.
